Mentor Application

At Redeeming Grace Youth Ranch we believe serving isn’t something we do, but rather something we are.

Mentors are such an important part of our program. Being a mentor means that you are passionate about our mission to love, encourage, and disciple youth and that you have a desire to directly invest in the life of a child in our program each week. Each mentor must have a growing walk with the Lord and be able to commit to a specific day and time each week for 90 minutes for at least one season (spring, summer, fall, winter).

Whether you have a lot of horse experience or none at all, we appreciate your interest in investing in the life of a child! If you are not comfortable around horses currently, but you are willing to learn basic horsemanship skills, training days are available. If you have the desire to be a mentor but are not comfortable around horses, you might be just the right fit for a child in our program that would benefit from a mentor but is not necessarily interested in horses.

Mentors are the hands and feet of loving on and investing in the kids in our program. You have the opportunity to build a relationship with a child in our community so that they might know and experience God’s love in a special way through you. Few things are more rewarding than helping a child know about the Lord and how to walk with Him.
